Community Garden at Reservoir Community Farm

Green Village Initiative hosts 42 garden beds for Bridgeport residents to grow fresh herbs, flowers, and vegetables for their families’ tables. From strawberries to cucumbers, squash, collard green, herbs, and more, these gardens are a primary source of clean and culturally relevant food from Spring to Fall.

We thank those who have applied for a garden bed at the Reservoir Community Garden for the 2026 growing season.

Applications are now closed, the Community Garden Captains will be reaching out this week.

We look forward to see you at the Reservoir Community Farm in 2026.

Groundwork Bridgeport’s Community Gardens Program is a network of organic gardens across Bridgeport that supports neighborhood health, connection, and local food access. Maintained by community members, these gardens create welcoming green spaces where residents can grow fresh produce and take an active role in their neighborhood.
